Rainfall - Between 350 and 600
litres / m2 of rainfall a year is needed for quality grapevines.

in the Northern Hemisphere, between parallels 30ºN and 50ºN

of 770 m.

The average annual rainfall is 461 l/m2.
Campo Real (Madrid) is located on the 40ºN parallel, precisely
in the middle of the most traditional wine-growing belt
in the Northern Hemisphere.
